Proposed Flood Storage and Trash Screen Installation in Kilbogget Park

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council are proposing to construct a large trash screen at the downstream end of the wetlands in Kilbogget Park.   The screen will have an overflow facility and also have a penstock arrangement that will hold back the stream flow during severe rainfall events creating a temporary flood storage area in the environs of the wetland.

Plans and particulars of the development, including a Part VIII Report, are available for inspection in the 'Related Documents' section below.

The Part VIII documents are also available for inspection in Council Offices in Dun Laoghaire and Dundrum from 14th June 2018 to 12th July 2018, at times described in the public advertisement.

The closing date for receipt of submissions and observations is 26th July, 2018.

In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the 2001-2017 Planning and Development Regulations, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council hereby gives notice of proposals pertaining to development.

What Happens Next

All submissions will be considered and a report will be prepared and brought  before Council Members.  Modifications will be made where possible.
