Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is very proud of the library service we provide and we are always looking for ways to improve or enhance the facilities and services on offer. Some of our most recent achievements include an extension to Deansgrange Library, a new library in Blackrock, the opening of dlr LexIcon, an increase of Library Membership to 33% of the population, increased opening hours, the introduction of self service facilities, e-books and the development of a rich cultural programme. With your help we can make dlr Libraries even better!

Why We Are Consulting

Under legislation, a library authority is obliged to prepare and adopt a Library Development Programme that will guide the library service for the next four years.  We would really like to know what areas you feel are in need of change. We are therefore asking you to tell us what you feel we are doing well and where we could improve. By consulting you, the public, we will learn what you like, what you love, what you want more of, or even something new, so we can tailor the services we provide accordingly.

By taking 5-10 minutes to complete this short survey you would greatly assist us in this process.
