Overview

In 2015 Dublin Bus in conjunction with the NTA, carried out a review of their services in the Dún Laoghaire, Sallynoggin and Loughlinstown areas, and put forward proposals to re-route services along the Sallyglen Road.

The proposals were advertised, Information Sessions and meetings held in conjunction with the NTA.

The issues raised at these meetings have been addressed by the following scheme changes:

  • It is proposed to provide a 30 minute service to the City Centre along Sallyglen Road (Revised Route 7) (every second bus)
  • It is proposed to retain a 30 minute service to the City Centre on the existing route through Pearse Estate (Route 7A)
  • In addition, it is proposed to operate an hourly service Mon to Sat on the 111 route which will be routed through Pearse Estate to serve the area

Dublin Bus have identified preferred locations for bus stops along the Sallyglen Road.

The location of these stops can be viewed on the drawings inlcuded here, and are also available to download on Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s website at www.dlrcoco.ie
