The Council sought feedback on a Draft Abounded Bikes Policy. The policy outlined the process for removing bikes from public areas, including from traffic poles and cycle parking stands, when bikes are deemed to be abandoned
You said
In total, 42 submissions were received through the dlr Consultation Online Hub by June 9th, 2020. 100% of those who responded were supportive of the policy to remove bikes from public areas that are deemed to be abandoned. In addition, 3 responses were received by email.
We did
Based on the submissions, a number of revisions were made to the text and a report on the public consultation was presented to Transportation and Marine Strategic Policy Committee in June 2020.
Overview
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has prepared a draft Abandoned Bike Policy and is seeking feedback from interested parties on the draft policy.
The policy outlines the process for removing bikes from public areas, including from traffic poles and cycle parking stands, if they are deemed to be abandoned.
