Community and Volunteer Awards 2026 - Group / Organisation Nomination
Overview
The dlr Community & Volunteer Awards recognise and celebrate the contribution of community groups, organisations and volunteers across Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.
Please read the guidelines carefully before completing the application form.
Nominations are open until Midnight on the 27th of October 2026.

Criteria for Nominations
To be eligible for the Community/Organisation Awards, groups and organisations should:
- Be locally based not-for-profit Community or Voluntary group/organisation in the County of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.
- Be able to demonstrate an inclusive and transparent ethos.
- Be working to address the issues / target groups identified in the dlr LECP. The LECP is available on our website here.
- Have an appropriate organisational structure and can demonstrate a commitment to good practice in line with the Governance Code or the Charities Governance Code.
- Be registered with the DLR Public Participation Networking (PPN) or in the process of registering.
Any group/organisation nominee should be aware and accept that they are being nominated.
What we will share
Information submitted as part of a nomination will be treated confidentially and will only be shared with the independent judging panel for the purpose of assessing nominations.
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is required to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 when processing personal data.
All records held by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council are subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2014 and applicable data protection legislation.
