Overview

Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council is planning to upgrade the existing playground on Patrick Doyle Road, creating a new, inclusive play space, where children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds can play. 

Why your views matter

This consultation aims to engage with the community, to gather ideas and local insight, to form the basis of the new playground design. Local communities are being invited to complete this online survey and share their ideas.

This feedback will help create a brief and specification for the playground to be tendered out to design and build, during 2025.       

The consultation program aims to:

• Determine the main users of the playground.
• Determine support for the playground.
• Gather ideas from the community for the playground design.

Community engagement activities being undertaken as part of this process include:

• Engagement with local Councillors.
• Public consultation survey.
• Posters promoting the consultations.
• Social media campaign.

The consultation opens from Monday, April 14th, and runs until Sunday May 5th. 

Late submissions will not be accepted.

Accordingly, they will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and may appear in the public domain (No names or email address will appear in the report or minutes).
