Since granting this licence, notification was received from the event organiser on the 18th April 2018 to say that this event will not be going ahead.

 

The Council has by Order of the Executive Manager, Planning and HR Department, dated 29th March 2018 granted a licence which accords with Section 231, Sub Section 3 and 4 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended) for the hold of a Live Entertainment Event  to be held on 27th April 2018 at Dún Laoghaire Harbour, subject to the 14 conditions:

Overview

Where a public event which comprises of an audience of 5,000 or more people, the organiser is required to obtain an Outdoor Events Licence from the Local Authority.  This is in accordance with the Planning & Development Act 2000 (As Amended) and Part 16 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (As Amended).

An application has been received on Thursday, 25th January 2018 in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for the holding of an outdoor event to be held at Dún Laoghaire Harbour, Harbour Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin.The proposed application is for a  Live Entertainment Performance  to be held on 27 April 2018.

Under the Planning and Development (Licensing of Outdoor Events) Regulations, 2001 (as amended) Article 190 of the Regulations, any person may make a submission or observation in writing to the local authority in respect of the application within 3 weeks of receipt of the application by the local authority.
