Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, in conjunction with the National Transport Authority, is proposing to carry out pedestrian and cycle improvements on Enniskerry Road between Stepaside Park and St Patrick’s Park as Phase 1 of the Stepaside Improvement Scheme.
The Traffic & Road Safety Section proposes to undertake a non-statutory public consultation for the above scheme and welcomes all submissions and observations on the scheme as proposed. The scheme will be delivered under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council are developing a village improvement scheme for Stepaside Village. The scheme aims to improve pedestrian and cycling facilities, enhance the public realm and reduce vehicular speeds in the area. The project will be delivered in two phases:

The Council are seeking views from the public to help inform the scheme design. A non-statutory public consultation is being held on the scheme from 28th April 2023 to 26th May 2023 (till 12 noon).
Submissions and observations can be made;
via written submission to the suggestion box in Stepaside Post Office, Stepaside Village, Enniskerry Road, Dublin 18, Co. Dublin, D18 R292
Observations should be clearly marked “Stepaside Improvement Scheme – Phase 1”
The closing date for receipt of submissions is 26th May 2023 (12 noon)
Further to this Public Consultation, a report will be brought back to the Dundrum Area Committee meeting.
