We asked
Dlr Parks undertook a public consultation survey for the upgrade of playgrounds at Clonmore Park, Stillorgan Heath, Leopardstown from the 15th April to the 6th May 2025.
This feedback will help create a brief and specification for the playground to be tendered out to design and build, during 2025.
The consultation program aims to:
Determine the main users of the playground
Determine support for the playground
Gather ideas from the community for the playground design.
You said
Clonmore Park Playground received 254 Citizen space responses and 2 emails.
We did
The surveys for each playground have been analysed and the summary of the findings are within the attached reports. These reports will be included within the tender documents, and it is essential that the most wanted elements will be included within the design.
We will provide further updates through the dlr website and at the playgrounds in time.

Overview
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is planning to upgrade the existing playground and excercise equipment in Clonmore Park, creating a new, inclusive play space, where children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds can play.
Why your views matter
This consultation aims to engage with the community, to gather ideas and local insight, to form the basis of the new playground design. Local communities are being invited to complete this online survey and share their ideas.
This feedback will help create a brief and specification for the playground to be tendered out to design and build, during 2025.
The consultation program aims to:
- Determine the main users of the playground and excercise equipment.
- Determine support for the playground upgrade.
- Gather ideas from the community for the playground design.
Community engagement activities being undertaken as part of this process include:
- Engagement with local Councillors.
- Public consultation survey.
- Posters promoting the consultations.
- Social media campaign.
