Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is considering taking in charge the roads and drainage infrastructure at Mount Eagle Square, Kilgobbin Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18.
The Council is now starting the legal process required to consider this proposal.
What does "Taking in Charge" mean?
Taking in charge is the process by which roads and other infrastructure in a development become public and are maintained by the relevant public authorities
Legal Information
Under Section 180 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is giving notice that it intends to begin the procedures set out in Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993 (as amended).
As part of this process, the Council will consider declaring the roads and surface water sewer at Mount Eagle Square, Kilgobbin Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18 to be public infrastructure and placing them under the responsibility of the relevant public authorities.
