Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council made an order to temporarily close a section of Ballyogan Avenue from the junction with Ballyogan Court to the junction with Ballyogan Road.

Overview

The Contractor for the Samuel Beckett Civic Campus has requested the temporary closure of a section of Ballyogan Avenue from the junction with Ballyogan Court to the junction with Ballyogan Road.

The closure is to take place for one day, on Monday, 8th June 2015.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the installation of drainage pipe work to serve the Samuel Beckett Civic Campus.

Access to the Ballyogan Estate, during the road closure, will be via the Ballyogan Road/Ballyogan Avenue junction beside the Leopardstown Valley LUAS stop.

Bus services will turn around at the Roundabout beside the Leopardstown Shopping Centre, on the Ballyogan Avenue.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion route clearly signposted.
