St. Columbanus Road Public Consultation

Overview

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is in the process of developing a public realm design for the road on which you reside. The aim of this project is to improve road safety, enhance the visual appearance of the area, and introduce a more organised approach to parking.

The project will involve the construction of a new landscaped strip, planting of new trees, bollards placed strategically to prevent illegal and unsafe parking, new formalised parking, and a raised table at the junction with Dundrum Road to improve accessibility. The completed project will result in a safer, greener and more modern layout from which the community can benefit.

The proposed scheme extents will incorporate the junction of St. Columbanus Road with Dundrum Road, and the first 120m approximately of St. Columbanus Road.
