The DLR Housing Department received  Part 8 Planning approval at the Council meeting on the 14th of December 2015.

 

 

 

Overview

As part of our commitment to provide high quality social housing we are proposing to construct 10 one bed units at Park Close, Sallynoggin, Co. Dublin.

The proposal is for the construction of 2 semi- detached single storey units and a two storey block of eight units (4 units on the ground floor and 4 on 1st floor).  Each unit comprises of a double bedroom, wet room style bathroom with shower, L shaped living/dining/kitchen and own entrance with storage.  Part of the living room can be closed off with a sliding door to provide an occasional sleeping area for carer or visitor.

The ground floor units have their own front door.  The four apartments on the 2nd floor are entered off two staircases.  The upper floor units have private south and west facing balcony accessed from the living area. The six ground floor units have small private gardens designed around a landscaped courtyard with parking and bin store.

The total area of each unit is 64 sq. m.

The proposed development is in accordance with the provisions of the 2010-2016 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Development Plan with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area.
