Parks: Proposed Development at Kilbogget Park - Sports & Community Facilities - PC/PKS/01/26

Overview

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is proposing to develop sports and park facilities at Kilbogget Park. The overarching aim is to deliver a flexible, high‑quality multi‑sport community facility at Kilbogget Park that supports current and future growth in participation, meets the needs of existing clubs, and provides inclusive amenities—particularly toilets and supporting infrastructure - for all park users, in line with Dún Laoghaire‑Rathdown County Council's policy objectives. 

The project comprises the development of a two storey building of circa 530 m² consisting of public toilets, changing rooms, a gym, meeting/analysis room, office space, referees room and storage.  

The development also comprises of a new play space and teen zone, a new multi-use games area with floodlights and skills wall, improvements to the entrance with minor modifications to the car park, site landscaping including planting, seating, street furniture, fencing, berming/mounding, drainage, and ancillary works.

The public consultation period for these plans will run from 30th April 2026 to 13th June 2026 inclusive. During this time, any individual or organisation can submit their observations using the following channels:
